What is Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling?
This treatment is an effective method used to treat a variety of skin conditions, along with address unwanted signs of aging. It works by heating the deep layers of the skin with radiofrequency energy to promote the production of collagen and elastin, two proteins that make the skin strong and supple. RF microneedling can also tighten the skin to provide you with a more youthful appearance.
What can it treat?
RF microneedling can treat:
- Acne scars
- Fine lines or wrinkles
- Hyperpigmentation
- Stretch marks
- Cystic acne
- Uneven skin tone or texture
What are my options?
InMode Fractora
Fractora™ by InMode is a minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment that combines microneedling and RF energy to rejuvenate your skin. As these two methods stimulate the body’s natural regenerative process, your skin will also tighten, reducing any signs of aging you may have. Most patients will need multiple treatments to see the results they desire. Since this treatment uses the body’s natural processes, you will see the rejuvenation process continue for 3-6 months after your final session.
Venus Viva
This handheld device is a non-surgical option to treat a variety of skin conditions and leave you with smooth, clear skin. Venus Viva uses focused RF energy to heat the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate the healing process. As the body creates more of the proteins that give the skin its strength and elasticity, you will notice a younger-looking complexion. Most people need multiple treatments to see optimal results, with the initial results being seen 4-6 weeks after your final session.
What can I expect?
Before we can determine which method is best for you, we will need you to come in for a consultation. During this time, we will evaluate your desired treatment area and discuss your goals for the process. After all of the relevant information has been gathered, a treatment plan will be made with the method that is best for your needs and aesthetic goals.
Am I a candidate?
If you have skin conditions or signs of aging such as hyperpigmentation, loss of elasticity, acne scars, or uneven skin tone and texture, RF microneedling may be right for you.
